Before I became a photographer, I worked in education for 6 years as a teacher. Even then, I was always capturing photos of those little ones to share with their families and creating resources for myself and other teachers to use in their classroom. I’ve always loved encapsulating memories through photos and have a keen eye for detail. Clean, crisp true to color photos are my favorite.
When I am not behind the camera, you can find me spending time with my family. Most of my time is spent outside chasing around my 2 year old and our golden retriever. I have many hobbies outside of photography, some of which include reading, fishing, and graphic design. My newest favorite - needlepoint.
The heart of my business has always been to freeze the season you’re in. Because seasons change, people grow, and time doesn’t slow down for any of us.
I started this business in a season of grief after losing my dad. In the middle of that heartbreak, I realized how powerful a photograph can be — how it can hold onto a moment long after it’s gone. That’s when this became more than a business. It became a way to preserve what matters most.
Every session, every gallery, every image is created with that in mind.
This one is for you, dad.
